Kyocera Mexicana S.A. de C.V. (KMX), a Mexico-based wholly-owned PV module subsidiary of Japan-based Kyocera, has asked the US Department of Commerce (DOC) to re-define the PV products that are subject to anti-dumping and anti-subsidization tariffs because KMX has adopted Taiwan-made crystalline silicon solar cells which carry an average anti-dumping tariff of 24.23%, according to industry sources.
