Gigabyte Communications to ship 2G feature phones

Gigabyte Communications has obtained orders for two 2G feature phone models for retail sale at US$25-39 from Russia-based partners and will begin shipments in September, resuming feature phone ODM production since its shift to own-brand smartphone production, according to Taiwan-based handset supply chain makers.
