Stepping into PV system installation in US market is a way to cope with anti-dumping tariffs, says TSEC chairman

The US imposition of preliminary anti-dumping tariffs on Taiwan-made crystalline silicon solar cells has substantially hindered Taiwan-based makers' direct and indirect exports of solar cells to the US market, and one way to fundamentally resolve the issue is for Taiwan-based makers to step into the installation of PV systems in the US, according to chairman Ellick Liao of Taiwan-based solar cell and PV module maker Taiwan Solar Energy (TSEC).
