Panel pricing shows downward trends in March, says DisplaySearch

Due to continued weak demand and higher inventory levels, monitor panel prices decreased US$0.50-1 in March. Prices for 21.5-inch units have eroded the most due to its broader supply base. Some panel makers plan to offer more aggressive prices to secure and bundle volumes in the second quarter, which could lead to a downward trend in monitor panel pricing during April.
