China-based PV module makers, viewing that PV module demand in the US is rebounding and prices are relatively high, have been seeking supply sources of crystalline silicon solar cells in countries other than China and Taiwan, such as Malaysia and Vietnam, to circumvent US anti-dumping and anti-subsidization tariffs, according to industry sources.
