MediaTek responds to patent infringement case brought by Synaptics against its China-based affiliate

The recent patent infringement case brought by Synaptics against Goodix Technology in the US will not affect MediaTek's overall operations, according to the Taiwan-based IC design house. MediaTek declined to comment further on the case.
