Synaptics has announced the filing of complaints against BLU Products and two Goodix entities, including Goodix Technology, in the US International Trade Commission (USITC) and US District Court, Northern District of California. Synaptics is requesting that the USITC investigate and determine that Goodix infringed several Synaptics patents directed to touch sensing technology. The filing also alleges that certain mobile devices from BLU contain Goodix touch controllers and also violate Synaptics patents.
