Samsung cutting DRAM capacity to halt price falls, says report

Samsung Electronics has scaled down its output for PC DRAM while keeping its August contract prices unchanged, according to a recent Chinese-language Commercial Times report. The move is expected to prevent PC DRAM prices from falling further.
