Semiconductor-grade silicon wafer maker GlobalWafers will expand production capacity through removing bottlenecks in existing production equipment, acquiring fellow makers, forming strategic partnerships, or setting up new factories of its own, according to company chairwoman Doris Hsu at an August 19 investors conference.
