Global annual capacity for N-type monocrystalline solar cells may rise to 4.3GWp in 2016

US-based SunPower, SolarCity and SunEdison as well as Japan-based Panasonic have stepped in production of N-type monocrystalline solar cells with energy conversion rates of about 23% and are likely to expand annual production capacities to a total of 4.3GWp in 2016, according to industry sources.
