The panel industry is expected to be weak in the second half of 2015. In light of this, AU Optronics (AUO) aims to keep its profits steady by producing TV panels that are larger-size, curved and feature Ultra HD (4K) resolution, in addition to high-end notebook panels as well as vehicle and wearable displays, according to the company.
