AUO spends NT$3.62 billion to acquire equipment from Marubeni

Taiwan-based panel maker AU Optronics (AUO) has announced it has spent NT$3.62 billion (US$109.71) to acquire panel manufacturing equipment from Japan-based Marubeni, according to a company posting on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).
