Casetek sees weak results in 1Q15 due to rising labor costs and delayed orders

Taiwan-based chassis maker Casetek Holdings has announced its financial results for the first quarter and achieved EPS of NT$2.66 (US$0.09), weaker than market watchers' estimated NT$2.8-3. Commenting on its weak performance, Casetek noted that the rising minimum wage and labor shortages in China have increased its costs, while some orders were postponed to the second quarter.
