Mitsui Chemical, SKC to merge polyurethane material businesses

Japan-based Mitsui Chemicals and Korea-based petrochemical firm SKC on December 22 reached an agreement to establish a joint venture that will merge both firms' polyurethane material business units as well as their distribution channels in Asia, Europe and North America, in April 2015.
