Compal smartphone shipments reach 20 million in 2014, to double in 2015

Buoyed by its integration with its handset subsidiary Compal Communications in February, Compal Electronics will ramp up its smartphone shipments to 20 million units in 2014, doubling from a year earlier and meeting the company's shipment goal set for the year.
