MCU design house Holtek looks to higher profits in 2015

Profits at Taiwan-based Holtek Semiconductor, which designs and develops standard microcontrollers (MCU) and consumer electronics IC solutions, are expected to top NT$1 billion (US$32.2 million) in 2015 thanks mainly to growing shipments of 8-bit MCUs to the China market, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report.
