Global LCD TV shipments in 2014 estimated at 215 million units, says consulting firm

There will be 215 million LCD TVs shipped globally in 2014, increasing on year by 5.5%, and the shipments will grow by 3.7% to 223 million units in 2015 with Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics together having a global market share of 39.3% and all China-based vendors a combined share of 32.9%, according to China-based Ʃintell Consulting.
