Compal expects good returns on JV deal with Lenovo, says report

Commenting on Lenovo's wish to completely take over a notebook-production joint venture (JV) it establisehd with Compal Electronics in 2010, Ray Chen, president of the Taiwan-based ODM, said that when the partnership was struck four years ago, both sides did agree on Compal selling its stake in the JV to the China-based brand vendor after certain years, according to a Chinese-language Apple Daily report.
