China handset supply chain to delay IC purchases till 2Q15, say sources

China-based handset makers and suppliers in the supply chain have adopted a wait-and-see attitude toward the purchases of ICs and other parts as telecom operators there are unlikely to launch new handset subsidy programs until the second quarter of 2015, according to industry sources.
