Xiaomi sees smartphone shipments jump 271% on year in 1H14, outperforming Taiwan rivals

Xiaomi Technology shipped 26.11 million smartphones in the first half of 2014, increasing 271% from a year earlier, an achievement far ahead of Taiwan-based rivals including HTC, Acer and Asustek Computer.
