Unity Opto to expand LED lighting capacity

Taiwan-based LED packaging service provider Unity Opto Technology has invested NT$1.23 billion (US$40.8 million) to set up production capacity for LED light bulbs, tubes and lamps and will gradually expand monthly capacity from one million units currently to over three million, according to the company.
