Taiwan market: 4G user base may reach 1-1.5 million at end of 2014, say Taiwan vendors

With Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) having started 4G commercial operations in Taiwan, the total number of 4G subscribers is expected to keep increasing along with continued expansion of 4G networks and possible price wars. The market stands a chance of reaching 1-1.5 million at the end of 2014, according to Taiwan-based smartphone vendors.
