Chi Mei Materials starts construction of polarizer factory in China

Polarizer maker Chi Mei Materials Technology on July 22 started first-phase establishment of two production lines with annual capacity of 12 million square meters worth CNY2 billion (US$323 million) at a factory in Kunshan, eastern China, with initial investment of US$298 million, according to the company.
