Motherboard makers see no need to wait to start a price war

Only a few weeks after the official release of Intel's 9 series chipsets, Asustek Computer, Gigabyte Technology, ASRock and Micro-Star International (MSI) have already started reducing prices of their 9 series motherboards as well as 8 series products, looking to maintain their competiveness in the market, according to sources from the motherboard industry.
