SMIC establishes 12-inch CIS supply chain in China

The 12-inch color filter and microlens array production line of Toppan SMIC Electronics (Shanghai) (TSES), a joint venture between Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) and Japan-based Toppan Printing set up in China, has been completed and has put into commercial operations, according to SMIC.
