Though Still Viewed as Hype, IoT Gaining Engineers' Attention

Design engineers may view today's Internet of Things (IoT) as still too unreliable, difficult-to-use, unconfigurable, insecure, standard-less, and the source of unnecessary user frustration. But 50% of embedded engineers surveyed recently say that it is very or extremely important to their product strategies today.
