MediaTek likely to take up Broadcom baseband business, says paper

MediaTek is likely to take up the baseband business unit of Broadcom after the US-based chipmaker announced recently that it plans to sell or wind down the business for cost savings, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
