CHT 2014 profit target deemed conservative

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) chairman Rick Tsai, in response to shareholders' question that the company's 2014 target net EPS of NT$4.62 (US$0.154) is too conservative compared to NT$5.12 recorded for 2013, indicated that it will make efforts to increase revenues and decrease operating expenses to beat the target.
