China makers quote 10% lower for PERC PV modules

China-based makers have quoted below US$0.7/W for 290W PV modules made of 60 PERC (passivated emitter and rear cell) monocrystalline silicon solar cells, 10% lower than prices offered by Taiwan and Europe competitors, according to industry sources.
