Taiwan's April 2015 consumer price index (CPI) of 102.91 (2011 as base year) increased 0.48% on month but decreased 0.8% on year, while the corresponding wholesale price index (WPI) of 87.93 dropped 1.07% on month and 9.15% on year, according to statistics released by the Directorate-General Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) on May 5.
