Protests over Hydis factory shutdowns continue in Taiwan

Protests are continuing over recent factory shutdowns by Hydis, with Korea-based workers holding another protest on May 26 in Taiwan. Parent company E Ink Holdings (EIH) meanwhile said the closures are inevitable as Hydis has incurred losses of approximately US$200 million since EIH acquired the company back in 2008.
