LED package pricing is continuing to fall in the second quarter of 2015 and so far has dropped 1-9%, excluding 2835 packages 2835. Since 2835 LED products are the mainstream in China's lighting market, the average price decline has reached 10-17%, more severe than other package types. For backlighting LED package products, average LED pricing has dropped 3-6%. Price competition in the direct-type LED backlight market remains the fiercest in 2015 versus markets for other types of LED packages, according to LEDinside.
