Commentary: Huali Microelectronics sets new milestone for entering memory chip segment

Shanghai Huali Microelectronics (HLMC), a 12-inch wafer foundry under the China-based Shanghai Huahong Group, has reached a milestone by snapping up foundry orders from Taiwan-based Winbond Electronics, a NOR flash memory chip supplier.
