Taiwan December CPI down on month, up on year, says DGBAS

Taiwan's December 2014 consumer price index (CPI) of 103.57 (2011 as base year) decreased by 0.36% on month but increased by 0.67% on year, while the corresponding wholesale price index (WPI) of 92.24% slipped by 0.79% on month and by 4.20% on year, according to statistics released by the Directorate-General Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) on January 6.
