Taiwan IC design houses January sales to rise

Sales at Taiwan-based IC design houses including Elan Microelectronics, FocalTech Systems, Global Mixed-mode Technology (GMT), MediaTek, Novatek Microelectronics, Richtek Technology and Sitronix Technology are expected to report as high as more than 10% growth sequentially for January 2015, as end-market demand is picking up prior to the Lunar New Year, according to industry sources.
