China December mobile phone user base grows to 1.286 billion, says MIIT

There were 1.286 billion subscribers of mobile communication services in China as of the end of December 2014, growing 0.40% on month and 4.64% on year. 485.26 million (37.73%) were 3G users and 875.22 million (68.05%) were mobile Internet-access users, according to statistics published by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
