Worldwide personal and entry-level storage market sees seasonal shipments decline in 1Q14, says IDC

The worldwide personal and entry-level storage (PELS) market was down 6.9% on year with nearly 19 million units shipped in the first quarter of 2014, according to IDC. Shipment values declined along with unit shipments, down 3.9% from a year ago to US$1.7 billion.
