Kinpo Electronics to start production at Philippines factory

Taiwan-based consumer electronics, STB (set-top box) and networking device maker Kinpo Electronics is constructing a factory on a site of 140,000 square meters (34.6 acres) in the Philippines and will begin volume production in September 2014, company president Simon Shen said at a May 19 investors conference.
