China-based polysilicon and solar wafer maker GCL-Poly Energy Holdings and China-based solar cell maker CSI have set up a joint venture to make crystalline silicon solar cells with an annual production capacity of 1.2GWp in eastern China, with CSI holding a stake of over 80%, according to China-based PV-Tech.
