United Microelectronics (UMC) has reported consolidated revenues of NT$12.83 billion (US$406.9 million) for October 2016, up 6.4% on year and 0.8% sequentially, while fellow company Vanguard International Semiconductor (VIS) saw its October revenues climb to a 19-month high of NT$2.25 billion.
