Windows 10 new project to benefit Taiwan supply chain, says paper

In addition to releasing an update for its Windows 10, Microsoft is also planning to partner with upstream suppliers to provide enterprises with Windows 10 for a licensing fee of US$7 a month, looking to stimulate PC replacement demand. Some market watchers expect the project to become a growth driver for Taiwan's ODMs in the second half of the year, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
