The recent attempted coup in Turkey is expected to only have a small effect on the operations of Acer and Asustek Computer in the country. However, since the Turkish lira suffered a sharp depreciation because of the coup, both companies are closely monitoring the country's political changes and will take measures to minimize the risks when needed, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
