Taiwan government to set aside budget of NT$2.4 billion for R&D of 5G technologies in 2017-2020

The Taiwan government has decided to set aside an annual budget of NT$600 million (US$18.2 million) for R&D of 5G technologies each year between 2017-2020, with recipients of R&D grants to be existing research organizations.
