Western Digital, Seagate see PCs growing less important to revenues

Hard disk drive (HDD) makers Western Digital and Seagate have announced their financial results for the third quarter and both makers are seeing their PC business revenue contributions weaken. PC HDDs only contributed about 34% of Western Digital's revenues, while Seagate's non-PC storage solution revenue contributions will also rise from 37% in 2010 to 57% in 2015.
