BenQ applying Productivity 4.0-based smart factory solutions to Qisda factory

Display device and projector vendor BenQ is applying in-house-developed smart factory solution based on Productivity 4.0, an equivalent of the German-developed Industry 4.0 standard promoted by the Taiwan government, to affiliated Qisda's factory in northern Taiwan, with the completed smart factory to be shown as a pilot one in the first half of 2016, according to the company.
