LandMark Optoelectronics expects Si photonics products to bring in revenues beginning 2016

LandMark Optoelectronics, which manufactures GaAs- and InP-based epitaxial wafers for laser diodes and photo detectors used in optical communication, has become a partner of Intel Silicon Photonics research project and expects silicon (Si) photonics products to begin to generate revenues in 2016, the company said at a November 18 investors conference.
