Imec partners with UEST to develop emergency-detecting wearables

Nano-electronics research center imec and UEST, a Belgian start-up company, have started the production of Zembro, a smart bracelet designed to enable the elderly to connect with their relatives in real time from any location, according to the companies. This is the first time the bracelets will be available since the initial imec-manufactured set sold out in April 2015.
