Giantplus purchases 4G facilities from CPT

Giantplus Technologies has purchased a Taoyuan-based 4G TFT LCD fab from parent company Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) for NT$1.8 billion (US$55.5 million), a transaction that is expected to be completed in January of 2016.
