China 1H15 patent applications up 20.5% on year

China's State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) received 1.124 million patent applications (invention, utility or design) and granted 471,000 patents in the first half of 2015, increasing 20.5% and 26.4% respectively on year, China-based Xinhua News Agency and Jinghua Times have cited SIPO as indicating.
