Winbond posts slight sales growth in 1Q15; cautious about 2Q

Specialty DRAM and NOR flash memory chipmaker Winbond Electronics has reported revenue growth of 2% sequentially for the first quarter of 2015. For the second quarter, the company set a cautious tone citing weaker-than-expected demand for TVs as well as continued slow demand for mobile phones.
